On June 21st from 10am to 3pm, Dragonfly Designs will be attending Save Our Parks, a fundraiser to spotlight attention to save San Francisco's urban parks. The event is a free, family-oriented event celebrating San Francisco’s public parks and featuring live music; children’s activities including a petting zoo, pony rides, Karate for kids; an art zone; family field games; wandering entertainers; food and refreshments; and more.

The event will be held at the Marina/Cow Hollow Recreation Center, 1800 Chestnut St. in San Francisco. Street parking will be available.

What will Dragonfly Designs be doing there?  We'll have a table set up for jewelry making activities for children, along with handing out information for our jewelry making summer camp and our Fall schedule of jewelry making classes for adults and children.

Welcome to The Buzz, the blog for Dragonfly Designs.  This is your window into our world.  We figured it was about time we started this blog, so here we go!

As many of you know, Dragonfly Designs is incredibly busy with many different things. Now that summer is here, we're hosting a bunch of jewelry making parties,  and teaching jewelry making classes all over the place.  We've also hired some new employees to help us out with our parties and classes, along with making all of our customizable jewelry for all of our customers. 

If you haven't heard, we're up for a Nickelodeon Parents Connect Award.  Please vote for Dragonfly Designs today!  You can vote every day until July 15.  To be honest, I have no idea what we'll win if we end up being the top vote getter, but vote for us anyway!
